Award-winning contemporary artist FLuX is a master of Trompe Nouveau, a new, first-of-its-kind oil painting style and technique that combines Trompe L’oeil contemporary hyper-realism in oils, with Art Nouveau traits of artists like Alphonse Mucha & Winsor McCay. He also creates hand-drawn and painted digital work in a Trompe Nouveau style.
His work has been exhibited around the world in collections with notable artists such as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Kara Walker, and Takashi Murakami. His commercial clients include Apple, Swatch, Focus Features, Paramount+, FX, Puma, Diesel, Peace Tea, & The Internet Band. His graphic novel work includes, "Good: From the Amazon Jungle to Suburbia & Back" & musician-interview comics for Lemon Magazine. He has received numerous awards including Creativity International, Communication Arts, and Society of Illustrators, and has been featured in publications such as Gestalten’s Illusive, The Big Book of Illustration and Spectrum.
