Nancy Lindisfarne is an anthropologist who previously studied and taught at SOAS University of London. In 2020 she published Afghan Village Voices, written with Richard Tapper, and they are presently finishing an Afghan photo ethnography. Her most recent book, written with Jonathan Neale, is Why Men? A Human History of Violence and Inequality.
